My Birthday

Dear Universe,
I have never asked for a present for my birthday since I was 11-years-old. It was for a Gameboy. Now I am older, wiser, and only want one thing*
A subscription to VISIONAIRE magazine.
Thank You.
Sincerely,

LA BBQ FEST
This whole event was a big fucking scam. They just crammed as many people as they could in an area and charge them for hastily made BBQ. No care or attention paid to the experience at all. I couldn't tell any of the stalls apart. Just a big clusterfuck. Once again affirms my belief that America has the worst street fairs of any country period.
Oh yah, the BBQ was shit too.

Art and Technology
Stumbled across some videos on VIMEO of interactive technological audio/visual art projects and its really blowing my mind. So many interesting things happening that I would like to be a part of. I feel out of the loop and dated already. Maybe its time I fulfill my childhood dream and apply to grad school at MIT...

Takeshi Murata

I see this badly distorted chroma key digital jpeg compression aesthetic is getting quite trendy now.
This guy was the first I saw years ago doing it and still the best.

TED: JoAnn Kuchera-Morin: Tour the AlloSphere, a stunning new way to see scientific data
I mean seriously. We need more funding for the arts & sciences. Fuck sports.
